Day Lily

I created this (and won first prize in wearable beadwork) for the 2011 annual Atlanta Bead Society contest. The day lily is life-size, and modeled after photos I'd taken of the day lilies in my garden last spring. It's held by a strong magnetic clasp hidden behind the flower so that the beaded cord looks smooth from the back as well.
