Dreaming of Heat in Winter

I created this piece while housebound during a rare ice storm in Atlanta, and was inspired by the warm colors and dry heat of a long-ago visit to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Warm orange stone cabochons nestle amongst cool turquoise glass and magnesite beads. The pendant is backed with a rich red leather.
